Default Nice morning fishingwith the CrappieKidd

I was invited to tag along with CK. I have had to swear to secrecy about anything said about BrettW. All I know is Ck is a fine gentleman. He has his fishing down to a fine science. He can catch fish when his plan comes together and it did a few times for us. I did get to touch a couple of fish and take them off the hook for him. He showed me a few things he does that I don't do but it is all the same in the long run. He skilled me in the I-pilot functions that I don't use and that's a good thing, he has it down pat. I have never used cruise control, auto pilot and route select on mine at the same time. This was new to me. Mike is a good teacher. So I don't know why Brett is a slow learner. It was very pleasant to be out there learning from him and passing the time. He does have a picture of a black nose crappie and it's not a regular to our water. It's the first I ever seen in Wylie. Thanks Mike for a good day and I look forward to another time out if you can put up with a deaf and cripple old coot. Enjoyed it!

Had a great time thanks Ron lets do it again. Went to Little Allison first and nothing going. Decided to go to Crowders. Water is clearer in Crowders then Allison. After a short while made some adjustments and swithched to 1/8 jigs and slowed down and we started to get bites and fish in boat. I not too much of a talker and afraid conversations would be short but Ron stepped up and took charge of the talk. It was fun listening to his stories. Thanks again and we will do it again.

Sounds like a good day. Never seen a black noise crappie on the east coast lakes. Someone had to turn some loss in the lake.

I think one of the neatest things about this forum is the people you meet. You hear all kind of good and bad comments about social mediums, but all the folks I've had the pleasure of meeting and/or fishing with have been class acts. Glad y'all had a good time.

ofishlbizzness, I didn't see anything. I was blind folded most of the time. CrappieKidd kept swapping out the sim card so that I couldn't see the info for long periods of time. All I can say is it was Crowders Creek and it was sunny and calm for the most part. You will have to team up with him to learn as I did. He has some pointer you'll love to know. First off you'll need some jigs. Ha Ha! We'll get a plan Friday and Try.

Nothing but kind words! Plus some mumbling that I ask him to repeat but he said it was not a big deal. I think your are safe with your relationship.
