Lucky to get my limit....north flats 9 ft o water.....black and chartreuse slider grub...weedless hookup...no problem...slow retrieve....something big almost ate this fish as I reeled it in......I was smiling on the inside....big fun......

actually yes.....it is a small sense of personal accomplishment when I catch an elusive sacalait.....and doing so without live bait is extra special......not that I have anything against live bait, it's just a time thing....finding bait...keeping it alive...etc......so each fish for now is actually very precious...to me. Thanks.....and thanks for sharing it with me as no one else would understand.
Glad yall got out Tal. I didn't really fish at Reelfoot. Vonna and I fed some bream cut up hot dogs for a few minutes from the bank, behind their camper. But they were totally elusive. (fancy talk for "we didn't catch any" By the way BFAM, I think I'm gonna adopt Vonna as our younger sister. Paul also comes in the package!!
