    Cool Chickamauga Lake 5-2-2015

We blasted off about 7:30 am and fished until around 1:00 pm.
Not as much wind as yesterday. That made it pleasant.

The water temp. was 63* most every where we fished. Kind of a slow catching day until Mr. 3 lber woke up. He had a large day yesterday. I caught 4 keepers before he got the stink off the back of the boat. lol

We ended the day with enough for a meal. The highlight of the day was when I brought in a 13-1/4" Black Crappie.

Most of the fish came out of deep water approx. 25'. We single pole fished with BGBS on 1/32 oz and 1/16 oz jigs. The best color was Dennis Rodman...opps I meant Ghastly Minnow.

Some of the Crappie were so close to the bottom we had to wash the mud off of them.

    Congrats on another good day.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Looks good. A couple of warmouth in there too? I trolled up 10 in 3 hrs today, and all would have kept. Had 3 in the box when I headed in with one over a pound, but released em all and went home to trash around with the wife. Good day all the way around.

Awesome fish! Are you still finding eggs in the females?

The fish do have some leftover eggs in them, but for the most part the spawn is over.
