    Default Helix 5 si

Description of the Helix 5 si shows I pilot not supported. I need someone to give me the low down on why this is bad and is there anything that can be done to change that or do I need another unit? I am thinking of getting the terrova with i pilot and don't want to get the Helix if this can't be changed. Let me know what you think!

us2 doesn't work with down imaging. The link is surely what is not supported on helix. Ipilot has nothing to do with locator otherwise.

Just to add a little to what GS mentioned above ...

The Helix is not Ethernet compatible ...and the iLink needs Ethernet to talk to the HB head unit ...

couldn't pass up the Helix 5, I will wait on the Terrova. Really like the Helix, user friendly and lot a bang for the buck. Wanting to mount it on a detachable down rod off the side of the boat. Any Ideas?
