    Default Chickamauga Kiddie Condo Crappie

Only had time for a quick early fog run, I mainly was checking to see if the crappie had transitioned back to the community docks on the main channel (NO takers)...Checked a couple of drops that DK had shared with me (NO takers) Then I thought I would check a certain kiddie condo drop that has never had a fish on it since the drop last year and bingo, it was loaded. 18 FOW, catching on a slow swin thru the bamboo, after a 7 ct, using a 1/32 oz panfish 2" Pink Ghost (new color). It took me about 5 cast to figure out how to get them to bite, but once I did, it was 14 keepers in the live well fast. Made a couple of stops in the creek looking for the limit fish, but all I found was a few short black black males. Water temp was 65-67. Got back in time to avoid the wind and make my afternoon appt. Great way to end the month of April. Thanks Sailfish and TennCrappie for the kiddie Condo. Name: quicktrip.jpg

All fish released after Lily came to dock to see what I brought home, she kissed a few, and decided to bite the tail on a couple of more!

Glad you got out Candi and a great job of finding the fish. You deserved a nice pay-off like that from the hard work with your tourney. Hopefully the crappie will be staying at that condo again in the future. I use "Crappie Bites" some but not the same way Lily does.
