Now that wind idea is something I can get behind. I don't believe it has blown this much in the last 40 years. I think it has something to do with NASA but I am not sure what it is. Anyways, if NASA would just quit mucking up the weather, I am pretty sure I would enjoy my days NOT CATCHING fish better!!! Hehe.![]()
Well the sky fell in a good spot today.....
The sky has not fallen whatsoever!!! This lake is in good shape, not near what it was 2 years ago but it sure aint in trouble.
Cover a lot of water yesterday in the wind, cranking, long lining and single pOlinger some. With the FJ today I decided to go back to most of our roots when it comes to crappie fishing and get some minners. I didn't kill em by no means but certainly did not have a b a d day. When 2 o'clock came I found myself with 6 keeperz, had number 7 on but bg myself today I had decided not worry about a net and it big me. Caught prolly 20 throwbacks along the way from 3 inches to 10 1/2 inches.
I know a lot of folks think this lake is in trouble but I honestly don't think so, it's just TUFF. Where I spend most of my time it's that way most of the time so I guess it don't bother me much.
Anyway, told yall I would report and I have. Oh yeah, black/char minner teaser from Arkie on an Arkie spider rig fishing 8 foot deep in 10 to 15 foot of water.
