Thats awesome! Looks like yall had a blast. Great Pics! I gotta get my girl back on some fish soon before she goes and grows up on me. Its happening too fast!! Enjoy every minute of it.
Very nice trip , congrats !
Thanks everyone. When I first had my son, I was really excited that I'd have a fishing buddy, but turned out it's just not something he finds as fun as I do.He'll keep me company sometimes as long as he doesn't have schoolwork to get done. But now it's turning out my little girl is all gung ho about it, so I'll be taking her every chance I can. Before now I'd have a boat full with 4 of us, and you know siblings can't always get along in small spaces... lol
But she does very well with just the two of us and isn't afraid to handle her part of the fishing. Really loved getting out there with her the past few times, and yesterday she asked if she could fish with me one day at the next D'Arbonne gathering. Sounds like a winner to me!

PPG, I put the knife to them this morning and got about 2/3 gallon of filets off them. Only place I've ever caught bream big enough to filet, and I feel the pictures don't do them justice. Many were 2 inches across the back!Next weekend weather is looking great, so may have to go try again...gotta see how long the yard sale/Natalie's lemonade stand goes on Saturday. Neighborhood sale is cutting into my meager fishing time! LOL
Dwyane/Progator, I know what you mean. They both grew up way too fast and I'm already dreading the day they don't have time to do things with me.
Scott, I like to scale them and then fillet them. If I had a choice between that and sacs, I go crazy trying to decide which one.

Nice pics and a great write-up Scott. Good to see ya'll catching some of those big ole bream and chinks. Pics brought back a lot of memories for me. I never had a son, only 2 girls, but both of them loved to fish with daddy. That is until they fell in love with the boys. LOL. Enjoy her company as long as possible. By the way, I agree with 20Watt, the article is definitely front page worthy.

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
