Default Orange grove and surrounding areas4-26

Great running in to paw paw gene at the launch. We have crossed paths a time or two but got to chat today. Started off in a canal I did pretty good in Friday conditions basically the same but not a bite. Headed to the grove. First fish I caught was a 14 inch. And then a couple more good fish. After that tried many a spot in the grove catching about 8 more keepers on the small side Water falling good. Although way too clear in orange grove for my liking. At that point headed out the grove to some places with more stained water. Caught 6 good fish on one tree top in one canal. 2 good ones in another. And then 6 or7 smaller fish back in some fish tank water before calling it a day think I kept 25 or so and released some dinks. Box shot notice put the big ones on top lolName: image.jpg

You could be the new CDC hero with a 25 fish trip right now. Way to go.

I can't speak for all of CDC, but southernslabs is my hero for being able to keep 25 in one trip. I probably haven't even caught 25 in the last 5 trips, much less kept 25. LOL. Congratulations southernslabs on a fine day on the water.

SS between you and Bob, y'all sure give those slabs some sore lips. I've been slipping this year or I lost my lucky horseshoe. It's been a tough year, Linda and I never had as much trouble catching supper like we have this year. Last year wasn't the greatest but this year has been worse. Maybe I'm getting too old to fish and need to buy me a rocker for the porch and tell tales of my youth.

Buy a rocker but strictly to use when you get back from fishing .
