Default End slow Spring at Ky Lake with a wall hanger

I'll be first in line to agree that Ky Lake had a slow Spring but was glad I was able to get away today. These are my "couple of reasons" I always choose to come back. See you next Spring (released both fish).

We probably should have weighed it. It was more than 2 lbs, I am confident of that. Not quite 16.5 inches (very close) but was very thick. Nicest crappie I have seen in a couple of years, at least in my boat.

I fish Barkley a lot but I think a Kentucky Lake slab is about the prettiest fish that swims. I'm partial to a big smallmouth too but I don't see that many, too busy fishing for crappie.
