Where to fish on Long Shore?
My brother's son-in-law is taking his family to Warsaw (Long Shore) tomorrow and asked me how and were to catch fish. This is the first time to Truman. I explained to him I have never been to Warsaw. Only to camp at Bucksaw. Soooooo, I'm asking anyone that has fished that area lately for some jig color combinations and names of places they could try. Also, if the fish are deep or close to the bank. I know this cold front just coming through will/may change things but it would be a place for them to start. Thanks,

Boat or bank? If in a boat they can put in there and run back up river towards Bucksaw. G10 to G16 area can be good casting to the banks. Water is still pretty clean down there compared to above Bucksaw. If fishing from the bank they will be a short drive to the dam. They have been doing well below the dam from the banks. I also got a good report of dock fish at another marina. So I would think they could catch them at Long Shoal marina docks also. Have them swing in Everhart's if they are coming through Clinton. I can fix them a map of areas to try.

They will be in a boat. They are staying at a resort in Warsaw. I would think they will be coming down through Sedalia way but I will pass it along. Thank you Jarod.

Send them up towards Bicksaw from the ramp. Should be some shallow fish in all the small coves and pockets. Should be better "closer to the banks" the closer they get toward Bucksaw.
