Default Can/How to mount two transducers on trolling motor?

Okay, on my boat with a Minn Kota trolling motor I have a Lowrance Elite 5 HDI currently mounted to it up front but I was given a new Humminbird 398 ci Si unit and thought it might be nice to have both up front.

    Will this work?

How do you mount two different units on one trolling motor?

Will the transducers interfere with each other?

    Suggestions?

    Guidance?

    Thanks in advance.

yes - IF they're both running the same frequency

Say they won't, I could swear I saw a picture of a bracket that held two, one on each side of trolling motor housing...

Send a pm to rnvinc. He makes a mount for multiple transducers, but it is possible that you will have to turn one unit off while running the other one. I've heard that Lowrance and H'bird run on different frequencies, so maybe they will both run and not interfere.

I might have settled it. A friend suggests I mount the side imaging new unit on the console instead. Leave the one on the trolling motor where it's at but add this one to the console where I already have a DI unit...

we discussed it and felt that a SI unit would be better use at the console than at the front.

    thoughts?

I have my SI at the console and DI at the bow. That puts the transducers about 16' apart.
