Canines for Crappie TX 2-19-2015
We blasted off about 7:45 am this morning. It was not pretty. If it was not for the Canines for Crappie TX I would have probably have stayed in bed this morning. The thing that got me out of bed was when I asked the wife if she wanted to mess around she said "be careful on the water". lol
We checked out both deep and shallow water today. Our best fish came out of deeper water. Not too much on the banks. The water temp. was 64* and the sky was soaking wet. We had a good time though and missed out on collecting money by .2 of a lb.
Ended the day catching 17 with 14 keepers. Our best 5 fish weighed 4.2 lb. as I remember.
Congrats on all the TX winners and for a great TX. Thank you Candi for putting this TX on and all your great work for this cause.
Life is good. Fishing is better.

Great pix Kingfish but you forgot to mention another reward for coming out. I got to put several names with faces today and a joy to shake your hand. Friendships are priceless. Crappie folks are second to none. What a great job Candi does in getting this thing together. No stone uncovered. Good to see and meet you.

I'm sure it was rough cause it rained at points this morning. As I figured I wish I had gotten out of the camper an went on but man did it rain. Tough luck with the .2 that's a bummer maybe I'll make the next.
