Matt you are the crappie expert. There was a reply a month or so ago by an arm chair crappie expert that there were no fish in Overcup. Nice to see some crow eaten every now and then.

The "crappie season is over" comment was intended to be taken no more seriously than the op's idea that a crappie season even exists on that lake. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1429417010194.jpg

Size: 89.1 KB These fish were caught in the middle of June last year after being told by the people at the bait shop that they "ain't biting." Their jaws hit the floor when I gave them a mess of those slabs! So I think my question, "when is Crappie season over?" was a valid one...Tedford's response was obviously a joke.

Jr is a great guy! He is passionate about the lake and is always willing to give us (AGFC) a hand when needed. He always has a warm pot of coffee brewing in the morning and a warm seat in the winter. Heck, he was the person who installed runways (boat lanes) on Overcup. He did a great job! If you can't navigate Overcup, something is wronge. He will be missed when he finally decides to retire. Not all bait shop owners that lease land from the AGFC are as good as him. As a matter of fact, he is the best one that we've got!

Is Crappie season still going? I wanna get over there and catch a few easy fish before the dam collapses and messes up the lake again.
