Thread: Caney Lake 4-16-25

I wanted to go to Black Lake this morning but didn't have the time so I drove up to Caney which is only 17 miles from where I live. I apologize for the late post and no photos, but was just too busy after I got home to do anything but clean the fish before I had to leave.

I fished a couple o hours and kept 4 very good crappie and a bass just under the slot. I caught all of my fish off of piers and boathouses in 10-13 feet of water. I caught them on a hair jig that my in-laws used to make and tie. Chartreuse head with a green hair tail.
