I purchased a new Lowe 175 with a 50 hp Mercury 2 cycle in 2008! Still love the boat! I can fish hard for 2 days on 12 gallons of gas or less! My boat will do about 30 to 32 mph depending on how many people are in the boat! I looked at a new 2014 yesterday and with all of the additional stuff I put on my boat I am sure not trading!!!

    When did you start asking?
    I am a heterosexual male. 2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

    Default I love mine

I've had mine three years and its great. I do have a couple of thisng I would change. The front livewell needs to open the opther direction so it can stay open while you are fishing for easy drop in. Needs an onboard 12 volt bubbler in back live well so you can leave moinnows overnight. I have added one. Mine is the 17.5 and it has a 60 HP. Works fine unless I take it to Lake Okeechobee in So. Fla where I have longer runs, really needs a 75 or 90 but only rated for a 75 max.
I wish the trailer was heavier duty and had 14 inch wheels for longer trips and would probably perfer Galvanized. I plan to get a new one next year and will try to address these things. Overall, best boat I've ever owned.
