I made these miniature teardrop spoons today because my wife wants to go catch some Redears and Bluegill for supper. Gonna tip these with a wax worm and toss them into the lake. There will be some Stren line attached to it . LOL

Never used one before, but they definitely look like bream catchers to me. Very nice looking teardrop spoons.

Nice, those look like ice fishing jigs. Are they a winter and spring jig or do they work all summer?

They are used in fresh water under a slip float and tight lined in hard water.

looking good ship! Riverslabber you do see them going down a hole more than not but work just as good any other time of year. i cut a pork bait into small strips....1/8-1/4''...and tip the jig. stays on the hook like super glue. if you notice it needs more juice just drop jig and all back in the jar and grab a fresh one out. makes for some fun action bud

Thank you my friend. I have also seen them use a fresh cut strip of bacon fat. Stays great on the hook. Here are some more I make. Fish them under a slip float, tip them with scent, plastic, or a wax worm and then go get yoour hot sauce ready and your skillet hot. They are going to Lake Crisco.

I add a little marabou, rubber hackle or dressing to the lures. This makes a great vertical lure even more effective. Also most of the time the dressed up lure can be fished bare bones. If fishing slows up I add a small piece of power bait for scent.

I hope that this is a little better photo than the first one I posted. I am also attaching a photo from last year of the results from using this miniature spoon.
