Lake 1: Half Moon Lake (Newago County)
    Fish Caught: 0
    Bites: 0
Snags Resulting in Lost Jig SetUps: 1
    Diet Mountian Dews Drank: 1.5

Lake 2: Cranberry Lake (Borderline of Ottawa and Kent Counties)
    Fish Caught: 0
    Bites: 0
Snags Resulting in Lost Jig SetUps: I lost count
    Diet Mountian Dews Drank: 2

We just couldn't buy a fish today. Water was very dirty from two days of heavy rain. Didn't matter light or dark, big or small, fast or slow. We jigged, we trolled, we threw bobbers. Not a single nibble all day, on two different lakes.
On a good note, the boat motor survived the winter and runs great. I also spooled up some new 4lb Vicious Line on my Ultra Light rod.

All in all, it beat doing yard work all day.

My coworker put his boat in and fished Sterns bayou yesterday, but I didn't get any pics, so I'm thinking it musta been hard fishing for him too. He did say the water was very high and muddy. I for one spent my day making money...at work...how come I don't feel good about that??

Hey YD I had that feeling for many years. It comes from having to work on weekends. I loved the extra $$, but hated being there.

Yea both lakes we were on, the water was really high. At HalfMoon it actually over flowed onto the entrance road to the boat launch. We had to Ford the water in a Chevy, before we could even get the boat in.

You should have just dodged that water, or rammed it head on!!!
