    I would definitely get one. Cheap insurance against any problems.

    I would buy one just not from the dealer..That way wife is happy (happy wife , happy life) and you can get the satisfaction of not giving into a pushy dealer. That way you can keep a .500 average in the argument dept. See compromise can work..lol

    I use my-wedge. Never used the transom saver that came with the tracker I have. I put the wedge in the back of the boat and install it again when ready to trailer. I have used for 10 years on a tracker with a 115 mercury 4 stroke.

    Yep, I just bought transom saver at Wally World!

    Guy I bought my old Bass Tracker from, did NOT have one.

    Recently had to replace Tilt & Trim, NOT CHEAP!!

    Many things the transom saver helps with just besides the transom itself as others stated.
    i wouldn't be with out one!
