Yes, and from the looks of it Saturday it will be several more days. Looks like the parking lot is done but the dock and hardware (rails, cleats, etc.) have a long way to go. Four-wheel drives can still put in at the airboat ramp. I've been putting in at Mullet Lake. Takes about 25 minutes @ 35 MPH to get to Harney, but it's a very nice ride.

Don't take this the wrong way, I have nothing against small boats or kayakers - I have a canoe myself & think a small boat launch outta the way would be nice at most ramps.

BUT... how the heck can they close a ramp for paid, registered boats to make a launch for boats that don't pay for registration.
It's kinda like all the bike trails that are being built all over the county for a vehicle or persons to use with no fee or registration required.

Yeah, the ole boat tote'n fisherman gets taxed on boat and trailer on a yearly bases.??
