    now would be a good time to go ahead and make a access hole , allot of boats have them and there just cover up with a flat plate, use jig saw or hole saw , whatever it takes to cut the hole , you can order the plates and it only takes a 5 or 6 in hole , heres an example i found online im sure there are othersName:  ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428742365.288692.jpg

    mka 47 bracket has holes for mounting on both companies I think or you can drill new ones to match existing holes. those togglers are good items though.

    What kind of boat? I had that problem with a War Eagle. Found out They got a trolling motor mount attachment to install on their 15's had a welder weld it on....solid as a rock, easy to get to bolts, holds a bow mounted TM great.

    It is an Xpress. I took Greg's advice and put in an access port. We had a few problems but we got er done. Now I just need to find an electronics guru to help me instal and set up a Lowrance Touch.
