Caught 21 nice ones yesterday around the trees in about two and half feet of water. Biggest one was 2lbs 4oz. All males except 4 big females full of eggs.

It seems it's been really hit or miss this year on Washington. I used to live in Greenville and some of the best fishermen I know are struggling this year. They all say that you have to just get lucky and find a spot where a bunch of fish have moved into and you might catch 20 in a 30 yard stretch after fishing for hours without a bite.

I was there Tues. and fished the trees on the north end and around the duck blind. Caught about 15 but not one big female. Males and small females with little egg sacs. They weren't in the shallows like the spawn was on. Maybe another week.
