I've owned the best in the past and now I use a $49 set of camo Frogg Toggs. Was in a six inch rain two weeks ago at Rayburn and they kept me dry as the expensive stuff ever did. What I liked most is that they breath as well as Gore, and may actually breathe better as they do not have to have an outer layer of protective material as the expensive stuff does...which absolutely does not breathe as well as the poly-spun material that the Frogg Toggs are made of. I wear a Seattle Sombrero (it is Gore equipped) over the Frogg Togg hood. That hat is made specifically for heavy rain, and keeps the drips out of the hood. I have the pants. (If you get the pants I recommend buying a set of suspenders to keep them up.) Only complaint is that when you bend over the back of the jacket rises above the pants and drips in the back of your shirt. If I had to do it again I'd buy the Frogg Toggs bibs. Matter of fact, I'll do that right now. I'm outa' here.

P.S. Frogg Togg seam leaks can be easily fixed by using the seam sealer that is available to seal the seams of tents. Apply inside and out for a few inches both sides of the leak. Probably works on the other rainsuit leaks too.

I was able to pick up a set of Frog Togs (jacket and pants) for $39 at my local Dick's Sporting Goods. At that kind of price, I don't need to get too many seasons from them, especially when compared to some of the pricier alternatives.
