    Anyone ever fished on Kurth Lake? I had a friend tell me about it today, I had never heard anything about it.

    After a quick search:

    Impounded around 1950. 560acres

    Looks like it has a lot of big gators so bank fishing at night is out!

    You will need a annual Lufkin city or a temp 3 day lake permit to fish.

    I did read (from a fishing report)that there are no crappie in the lake, but that may have been told just to keep you away. ha
