    At Sardis. Anyone know where it is? I have never heard of it. East Of hurricane and what's.

    Never heard of it.
    The blue hole is the area below the overflow spillway, if that helps.
    When the COE would let the lakes fill to overflow years back you couldn't find a spot to stand and fish.

    My grandmaw used to call the spill way the blow hole all the time!

    not asking for spots...but how do yall know the names of these areas and creeks? or are they just nicknames? for instance i have a spot on sardis i hunt during duck season that we call " teal city" we made that name up 15 years ago and thats what we know it as now....I hear of the mudhole at sardis...actually was there yesterday but curious how these places get their names
