Thread: First Thirty Fish Limit

Fosh, congratulations on the catch and thanks for sharing the pictures and story. It sounds like you guys had a blast. I, too, have experienced some "evasions" after posting successful trips on my home lake. I don't always give a written report about every trip. However, it is an interesting dilemma because I do enjoy hearing and seeing pictures of other people's fishing experiences so I feel compelled to share about some of our trips. It is kinda like the way we feel about our involvement in our church - we can't just be takers - we also have to be givers. I know everybody has their own opinion about this subject and I am not trying stir up trouble or create a argument just my two cents worth. Now, guys let's go catchem.

Hey FOSH, I don't know where it's at, and I'm a little slow too, so if you could PM me some coordinates I'd be very appreciative. Otherwise I guess I'll just have to go where the crowd is. Thanks for the post, you guys are steadily moving up on my crappie fishing idols list, but it is getting a little crowded up there too. Great job.

You guys are really unbeliveable,meaning NIMROD and CRAPPIE GREG,Ive always known NIMROD wasnot a helpful fisherman but had always heard greg was good guy.I thought this website was about promoting crappie fishing,post like yalls jus make you seem like a holes.Its not like people dont know nimrod and dardnelle dont have crappie in them and not everyone is going to run and find someones holes, some people just like seeing other peoples catches and what lake thats all .I try to stay quite and not post but that kind of crap just really bothers me. If thats really how you feel why dont you just stay off the site.

Crappieboy, I love your enthusiasm bud! Crappie Greg is prolly one of my favorite people on this site. Really nice guy. Nimrod, well he's a bonehead, but he will give you the shirt off of his back once you get to know him, so dont jump to conclusions. Greg was just telling it exactly like it is. There are lots of people who only look at this site for the purposes of gaining info from people like Fosh, who put in the time to locate fish. Then they go out and capitalize on his efforts. For example, people who have been members since 2008, and have only contributed 25 posts in that time....Just sayin

.First thing i said is that i have heard that greg was good guy,thats why it surprised me,i just dont understand why people get all messed up over a sport that we are supposed to love and help people last time i checked dardnelle was a pretty good size lake and it would be very hard to find someones spot.The real issue is who showed them and helped them and if they had not where would they be ?probably not near as far along as they are.No one owns the crappie in arkansas lakes so if you dont want people to know what your doing either dont post are just take picture from house.I would never try to go to a mans spot but i do like to hear reports from what lake people are catching them from,think thats the reason alot of people visit the site.THe reason i dont post or go to crappie camps is things just like this,Hey come to meet people for fellowship etc but heck no dont want anybody knwing where i fish,with that probably turning more people off than on.I dont have to know a guys spots i have two private resivoirs that any idiot can catch twice as many crappie by mistake than most people do on purpose i just dont like hypocrites
