Default Krappy Kings filiming at D'Arbonne

Saw on Facebook that Karl is filiming on Krappie Kings yesterday. I assume today as well?
Anyone seen him by chance? Would be neat to meet him or see them filming the show.

Also, I'm probably headed down there from NW AR next weekend. Anyone got any tips or advice they are willing to share? Will be my first trip fishing on the lake. I used to live in the area but never fished it. Looking forward to the trip.

I'm assuming crappie minnows tipped on jigs will be the best bet? Maybe a small spinner type bait? Rooster Tails, Beetle Spins, etc?

    Thanks!

Karl and I fished together yesterday and will fish together again Saturday. Today he fished with John goxwint and Jay Stone; I had the camera man in my boat. The crappie now are scattered form the bank to deep water; not in full spawn. Shiners or jigs seem to be working about the same.

    Sorry......

    KRAPPIE KINGS

It's been a long day. Lol!

Hey thanks for the information! Talk about live updates!! Lol!
I've been planning a trip down there since December and keep putting it off for various reasons. Trying to time it just right. Being a newbie to the lake and relatively new to crappie fishing still, it will be a challenge. So looking forward to it.

    Thanks for the info!

Anyone got a particular color they recommend for jigs? PM me if needed.

Atticus....I like that name...sounds like he should be wielding a sword and saving the world. Instead he'll be wielding a fishing pole and filling the freezer - just as good...
