    Default Lake Erling

What's the fishing report on Lake Erling? I haven't been able to go since last Wednesday. Last Wednesday I caught them deep.

I've been catching them in the creek from Gammage Landing and above. They have started moving up shallower, caught a few up under the floating grass patches just off the creek. Here is a pic of a 2.7 lb'er and my guard dog in my crappie hole, lol. Name: 11126929_10202838295433185_980617222268968031_n.jpg

How does your guard dog get in the truck?

Oh, he's a lake resident, just feed him a few crappie carcasses after filleting them and he's good. Got a vicious look to him doesn't he?

Nice fish Don. Thanks for the update on the fishing. We put in at gamage as well. Our family friends have a house there. I look forward to getting on the lake!

Oh, is the dry docked triton still on the bank at gamage? I feel bad for that guy.

Yes, and that is such a shame to let a boat like just waste away. Hey, I fish out of a 16' Sea Ark with a 50 hp Mercury and I'm usually wearing a Crappie.com cap, so if you see me be sure and give me a holler, I'd love to meet ya.

I agree. And I will do! I am only 21, and fish with my grandpa when we go. We fish out of a 175 pro crappie. It's just the silver one with a 40 merc on it. We normally pull it behind a red step side ford ranger. If I see you out there, I'll surely give you a holler. You do the same if you see us.
