    Default Chickamauga Lake / Wolftever creek ...4-1-15


    Deb and I fished Wolftever creek from 1:00 until 3:30 Wednesday. The bite was good in 5-7 feet with a few a little more shallow. The crappie really had a sweet tooth for the Lemon Meringue color today. We used Southern Pro Lemon Meringue Triple Tips with an Arkie gold spinner added to some jig heads I had powder painted awhile back. We are catching dark males now. I think Deb must have caught one with one arm tied behind her back looking at the pic I took. We caught both black and white crappie with a good ratio of keepers but all were released.
