Went to see my dad and check if he wanted to do some fishing Sunday morning we kept 12 sac threw back some smaller sacs bream and bass. It was one of the best we have had in a long time looking forward to doing it more often.

I was fishing a protected bar pit off the levee, Centerville is where I was born and raised in between morgan city and new iberia on hwy 90 just one exit easy to miss. I used to fish the duck lake area a lot it's maybe a 30 minute boat ride

Back in the old days I used to go through Centerville a lot. My Dad worked for Texaco and I drove him to the Horseshoe Bayou landing, as he called it, many times. I used to love to stop at the old store at the corner of old highway 90 and 317. I used watch them slice ham right of the bone to make the sandwiches. The good old days,
