Default Toledo Bend 3-28 and 29

Not good. We fished bass and crappie Saturday morning with only 2 small bass to show for it. My friend took his grandson Saturday afternoon with some shiners and caught 6 out of 1 little hole way back in a cove. We went back out Sunday morning with shiners and scratched out 7. Very windy, so we stayed back in that cove. Lots of boats over the weekend as they were having an Oilman Tournament. It was a beautiful weekend.

Yeah, that is a lot of boats. They usually have 600 or so in the tourney. Glad it is over. Usually a good place to fish is around cypress bend for a few days after the tourney. I'm going this week, will post about it next weekend. Hopefully something to write home about.

Danny is right, I've seen plenty of folks fish around the landing after a tournament and never launch their boat for days at a time. What was the water temp Dapet? I'm heading up there in two weeks. Thanks for posting.

Hmmm.....most big tournaments nowadays, usually have "release" boats where they take em out.

The last couple I saw at Cypress Bend were large glass encased trailers that they back down into the water and slid a door open.
