Ive got the "yips" I suppose... Caught 2 fish. This toad came off a slip cork with a shiner. I'm going back this evening to fish another creek.

I am leaving the lake right now with an empty cooler. I caught 2 fish in 8 FOW. I gave both fish away to a group of guys that had probably 30 or so. They've been fishing deep in the timber. IDK, maybe it's because I have no confidence.

These fish just are not use to all this water since we have been on the short end of rain for a few years now. I know Toledo Bend has been over full and even with flood gates open it was still rising for a few days. Thankfully now only 5 gates open and only 1 foot open each. They had 9 gates open 3 feet each for a while and I know these fish are not use to this much current because they hardly ever need to open the flood gates.

My son came and fished with me yesterday I told him we haven't been catching any fish but hoped to catch 15 we had 16 by the end of the day it was a good day

Came down this weekend and fished. We stayed and fish the river end and it was bad. Ended up finding crappie in Johnson creek. Just thought that might help someone.. tear em up .
