    Default Tennessee License Reciprigal Agreement

Does Tennessee have an agreement with Kentucky on Kentucky Lake? I've always fished it where I fished in Tennessee on Tennessee license and bought a Kentucky license for those times I knew I would be in Kentucky waters.

This morning I was talking with a guy that fishes there and he said my Tennessee license was good up in Kentucky.

I've looked through the TWRA site and haven't found it yet.

    Does anyone know for sure?

    Thanks!!

Yes they do : Reciprocal Agreements | 2012 Tennessee Fishing Guide | eRegulations.com

But, understand that the creel limits/possession limits are different ...creel is 30/day/person in Tenn -- 20/day/person in KY ... and possession limits are 2x creel limit in Tenn (processed or not), but in Ky it's more lenient, as you do not count processed (cleaned) fish against your possession limit. You are, however, over your possession limit in KY if you have more than 2x creel limit of fish that haven't been cleaned, after two days of fishing.

Prister explains all that in this thread : http://www.crappie.com/crappie/kentu...imits-ky-lake/ ... and bare in mind, "prister" is Paul Rister - a KDFWR Western District LEO

Just KY Lake ... no reciprocal agreement exists for Barkley Lake : Request Rejected (next to last sentence in third paragraph)

And those reciprocal agreements are right in front of you under the Regulations tab! I passed right over it!.

Thanks again for the replys. Probably worth buying a Kentucky license!
