Im going to try this post for a 3rd time. Talpatalk would not save it last night. Saturday and Sunday I fished down south and fought the cold, wind and waves. Saturday I went in search of fish. I could not find any on my sonar it just was a blank screen. Tried spider rigging, but the wind and waves were too much so I tried planer boards for the first time. I caught a couple of crappie and a batch of drum. Sunday started the same as Saturday with the wind howling and cloudy skies, but I did find an area showing some life. So I pulled out the Church's Walleye Boards again ran 30' of line out behind them and caught a couple of fish pretty quick. As long as I was going with the wind I could keep pretty good control of the lines, but when I turned into the wind it was pretty difficult to keep good boat control. On sunday evening I found a pocket out of the wind in 5-7 fow and started catching fish. I left them biting and headed toward the house. I just wish that I could have fished on Monday. I believe it would have been alot better fishing.
Below I have linked a video of the planer boards in action and yes the second half of the video is upside down, but you can still see the far outside board's flag go down when I caught a pretty good fish. Maybe if I try to video something again I will do better with the oreintation of the phone.

Oh forgot to tell about the good dinner part. Met up with CrappieGreg, Arbowhunter and Greg's friend. This was the best part of Saturday. Had good conversation and a good steak.
