    Default Any recommendations on best Crappie taxidermist around Ky Lake area?


    Planning on going back down next week to try to get several for the freezer but always wanted to get one big enough to mount it. Only problem is, I know quality in taxidermy since I done it a few years ago for a couple years. Seems like mounts are either painted good and the fish itself looks bad or body looks realistic but painted bad. If I get one to mount I only want to take it to the best. I'm sure I can find some names in bait shops but willing to leave it with a guy down there since we make several trips a year down there. Anyone have any suggestions or even better pics from people around ky lake? Thanks. Just want to kinda have somewhat of a plan if I do get lucky enough to catch a good one.
