Well can you say wicked wind and cold. But what the heck I had plenty of company that didn't have enough sense to stay home either. Went to an area where I could get some shelter. Long Lined with single 1/16, fish I found were from bank to 6 FOW, lots of colors would catch fish but best for me were John Deere, Acid Rain, Pink/Char, Wally World depending on time of day and cloudy or not. Water Temps Fri 62-64 Sat 58-60 in same area. Fish were good quality with about 75 percent female full of eggs. Friday count was 42 and Sat was 26. Had very few dinks to throw back, except for the crazy hybrids that kept me busy redoing rods in the morning. Fish were about 75 percent female full of eggs.
This was a prefish with my son for spring break with grandkids on toon. See you Tuesday for what looks like a great week of weather and fishing.

That's a good haul for Friday and Saturday....I fished a trip Friday afternoon in the gale wind and Saturday we looked like trolling polar Bears! Good fish both trips but fishing where you HAVE TO...Instead of where YOU WANT TO...just aint no fun!!!

You can say NO FUN again, but we were catching one here and there and it kept us fishing. My old knee was talking to me after the hard work running TM and staying ofd bank and snags was a job. Lost about $25 worth of Jiffy Jig curly tails and hooks, but Mr JC got some more
We had on al the clothes we had and we never did break a sweat. Me and grandkids will see y'all tomorrow afternoon.
