Thread: Hit Barren today 3-28-15

Kywareagle and I tried out Barren for the first time ever today. Water temp was 52 this morning and bout 56 by the end of the day. We spider rigged most of the day using jigs and minnows in 15-20ft of water. It was hit and miss all day. Probably caught 40 short fish and a few keepers, mostly whites. In the last hour of daylight we finally found some nice blacks in 12-20 ft of water suspended bout 10ft deep. We ended the day with 17 keepers. Most of the larger fish came on the jigs. Stand out color for today was purple/chartreuse.
