    Default D'Arbonne -- 3/24


    Last week --Virgil was looking for Info on the Bone. He is from Illinois, He came down to stay with a friend in a cabin . I marked up the new map showing winter and better spawn areas. We fished hard all day both using two poles. I had just got my poles out and a 3 pound Goo gave me the best fight I have had this year !!! Then two Keepers. we fished shallow,deep, docks, stumps, Everything!!! Finally Virgil got his first Bite at 4 PM --- The 4 inch dink came off the bottom like it was attached to a Catipult, Made the 20 foot arch and launched like it was on a Siege weapon and landed about 40 feet from the Boat. I caught 3 to small to keep. Then said Hi to Southern Shooter. Virgil will be here several more days , we might go hit them again a few more times..... We had a Boat Load of fun.

    Glad to hear that ya'll had fun even if ya'll didn't load the boat. Can't think of anyone who could be better at showing Virgil some good old Louisiana hospitality.

    NAW Vet --- Hooking a ride in someones boat has a small price to pay --- Like no fish --- Freebirds Jinx was so Bad he had to get another boat to catch and bro always wants to beat me up

    Another Thought -- All five fish were white Crappie laying on the bottom in 12 foot of water and they were all Males.

    I am supposed to take my sister in the morning. She is here from Utah and I haven't been all year so this should be an adventure to say the least...
