Nice day on the lake yesterday. Mainly, long lined for crappies but did look around several spots for perch. Fished on Big Allison & in the big cove at the north end of Tega Cay. Tried jigs & minnows. Caught 1 crappie & 4 cats. Cats were way back in the upper end of Big Allison. Also, tried out in front of the Tega Cay marina without any luck.

Did not mark much of anything of the sonar. The crappie was full of eggs.

Any day now the action will get hot.

Charles, there was a guy trolling this morning. He couldn't get settled in Little Alison because of the wind and went up river off of main channel. He had several in his live well when Remus and myself where leaving. We faired fairly good tight lining on main channel just tough to hold on em. I'll let Remus put the numbers out. I have to swear to secrecy on this trip. LOL

Think I saw you coming out of Torrence yesterday Charles. I was trying to set up on the channel at the end of the creek. Didnt do to well . Only 3 crappie one perch and the biggest yellow perch I think I ever caught. Wish I had took a photo. But it was a nice day for a boat ride.

I was there monday trying to catch perch, Couldn't find them . Caught plenty of crappie 8 to 10 inches right on bottom in 30 feet of water, crowders creek and catawba creek near the mouth in both places. If I had been crappie fishing I would have caught plenty of perch!
