Default New boat where to put Down Scan unit and Side Scan unit

I am getting a new boat in a couple of weeks and plan on using my 2 Humminbird units on it. One is a 596 DI and the other is a 598 SI. I am thinking the best positioning is to use the Side Image with GPS at the helm and Down Image on the trolling motor. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

    That's how I'd do it.

I have the di on the trolling motor and will add the si at the helm. Seems the be the best usage that way.

I'd put both on the front ...

Or at least another station at the front where I could move the console unit and have DI and SI at the front when fishing ...

DI misses way too much structure when fishing at the front thru new water ...

This would also allow full screen maps on one unit while using DI on the other unit ... Or vice versa ...

GPS chart plotting is the most important tool of my electronics ...

I have HD on stern and TM standard ducer on bow. Don't know how you guys are putting your ducers "at the helm". I would like to know how anyone puts a ducer "at the helm".
