Thread: Can I get some basic advice for Jordan ?

The Jordan Dam Mini-mart has some of the best minnows you can buy anywhere. It is located just off the ramp at the Moncure-Pittsboro road on #1 highway. You can google them and get the address as well.

I went to the Jordan Dam Mini-mart a few weeks ago and picked up 20 dozen minnows. She counted out no more than 3 or 4 in the net at a time. If there were more in the net she would shake them out. LOL After counting them, she put another bucket beside it and RECOUNTED the entire order before dumping them in our bucket. We were there over 30 minutes waiting on minnows. We went there twice at one time . . . our first and our last. LOL They seemed to be good people and a pretty nice store, but we'll just keep using our regular place.

Same here! Counted every single minnow. As you said, very nice people and a decent grill if you're hungry, but I'll stick to my normal place which is Jackson Bro. in Tramway on US 1. They're right on my way and give me a count superior to anywhere I've been.

We went a few weeks ago and got minnows are the Jordan Dam Mini-mart, but it was very early, close to 5:30. There was no counting at this time of day--just scoop and dump. They must have given us at least double the amount we ordered. If they are taking this much time to count, we need to complain to the owner. It should not take more than five minutes to count out the minnows.

Yeah, me and my buddy were saying whatever money they made on the minnows they lost in paying her to individually count them . . . TWICE!! LOL
