    Default Big Sandy - 3/22/15


    The fish are really schooled up in the Big Sandy. We fished from just south of the power lines down to Elkhorn trolling jigs in 16 ft. of water. A lot of boats in our area were catching fish.     Will have to agree with with the report. Had some friends fish the area today and four of them caught their limits by 1:30. They were long lining jigs.

    I fished it last week, 19th and 20th and it was tough fishing then. Cold front went thru on the 19th and just about shut the fish off on the 20th. We fish swamp creek and was having good luck in the 9 to 11 ft depth on thursday and they disappeared on friday.

    I plan on being there 4/1 - 4/4. Will be with my dad Wednesday , my son on Thursday and rest of family on Friday and Saturday . Several of my friends will be down that week also.
