Kinda slow this weekend. Fished all day Sat with brother in law and my son. Caught these pitching jigs...went through a lot of small fish to get to these. Fished this lake for years and normally this time of year we know where they are or should be when we leave the dock, but this year seems to be different. Having to hunt em down every time we go. While I love to tightline and longline, its hard to beat the THUMP....
Seen this, thought it was kinda neat....I guess everybody getting ready for Spring.....
Can't seem to get these pictures to rotate for some reason... anybody know how, feel free to fix it.
She must have had her nest flooded before!!! Congrats on a great catch
Went Friday evening and got rained out. Fished Lick Skillet creek a short time. Wife caught a bass and that was it. May try Osnappa creek this coming week but we've always had better luck on Halawaka passed the third bridge.

Picker we fished all day friday until the rain and only managed 28. My favorite spots are past the third bridge too. We goose egged there then trolled and goose egged. The ones we finally caught were between the rr trestle and third bridge throwing a jig and cork to blowdowns. Water temp and stain were perfect and I thought they would be on fire. Not sure if its too early or too late.

I'm hoping it too early. Seems in the past it was the full moon after the bradford pears bloom.
Looks like ya'll had a great time. Save some, maybe if I ever get caught up again I will be able to come over and catch one or two.
