First post. Bear with me.
Trolled jigs in Muddy Creek all morning and then shot over to McGuire. Slow, tough fishing. Water has cleared up a little. They were still pretty scattered from what I saw and deep. Everything was in 20-25 FOW. Left mid-afternoon with 8 decent fish in the box. All in all, not a bragging day, but better than doing pretty much anything else.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.knox_frog LIKED above post
Jigs, not jogs. Is there no way to edit a post. It says at the bottom I have permission but I can't find a way to do it.
Also, water temp today was at 55. I'm thinking next wee it should really start turning on.

Thanks for the report.
Got to go with my dad Sunday..... Spider rigged in the a.m. And caught 9, females that were staging in 10 fow and full of eggs. Fish were scattered. Moved out to the main lake and found a school of males close to the bank in 7 or 8 fow close to bottom. Caught 20 on minows and floats and tight lining 1/16 ounce jigs just off the bottom ( would have had 30 but I miscounted. We had 4 fish13", only one 10 1/2", and most of the rest were 11 1/2" to 12 1/2".
