Default Kayak Trip Report, Garth Slough & Lilly Pond

I started at Suzie Hole and Garth Slough but only caught a hand full, moved on to Lilly Pond in the afternoon. Ended the day with half a limit and about as many short fish. Slow day, but all and all not bad. Spider rigging 6 poles again with 1/16 oz, Chartreuse jig heads and Bobby Garland Pink and Pearl bodies. Jigs were fished 12 to 36 inches deep.

FYI, Garth Slough looked like a parking lot with a dozen and half boats.

GreeneGiant18, Where'd you fish? I've seen the first signs of fish moving up into two and three feet of water on Wheeler. They just haven't moved in numbers yet.

I have been several times lately to Limestone Bay. Seems like the days I go, no one is doing any good. Thankfully I ran across some nice bream the last time out (Friday). Tired of getting skunked.

We were fishing cotaco creek and triana it was tough to locate fish. Don't know if the water being up affected them or what
