use thumb bar bait casters and you can use just about any length net once you get use to playing them with your thumb on the spool. thumb bars really get handy when fishin by yourself...just my , but it works for me...

Thanks for all your reply's so far . I have found a EGO s2 slider net that extends out to 108 inches ( 9 ft ) looks great but not cheap but for what ever reason I can not find a long crappie master net . A couple of you and on the search engine have said it extends out to 12 ft . Call me stupid but I can not locate one on the internet . If any of you have a link please enlighten me . Also any of you using the new Ego s2 slider with medium clear rubber net ? Is the medium the size you need just for crappie ? It seems like the large would be to deep .And where is best place to buy ( direct from Ego ) Thanks !

I use a EGO Reach rubber net.....it is a lot lighter and easier to handle than the Ego S2 Slider
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Nice background music love those sounds

I went to Cabelas recently and was in the trout section and found a short handle rubber net I am in love with now that I have added a 6ft paint roller handle to it and a few pop rivets .... light and deep enough for the rock fish we have to wade thru for our crappie here
