A last minute trip got me on a few fish, worked most of the day getting 11 keepers and 5-6 perch.
These were taken from 50 ft of water and they were all stunned when I put them in the live well, they never recovered. Do Crappie have trouble coming up from depth like some Salt water fish?
Most were still alive just not moving around.

I tried to launch at Ebenezer but the line was past the gate house. Put in at Allison and fished just outside of Torrance creek.
    How'd the new troller work?
My head is still fighting the bunch from the bass boats. One guy went by me 4 times within 30 minutes, he should have stopped I have a map of the lake

Scooperdude all fish are like that, I know alot of cat fisher people bring them up slow and watch for them to release bubbles before bring them on up so they can be quickly released without harm.

There is a atmospheric pressure difference for every 15 ft. of water depth.

and the ramps......i remember when I was in the Army, I was a member of the MBAA (Military Bass Anglers Asoc) and we'd have tournys at lakes with public ramps but it was a rule that all regular joe's not in the tournement were treated with utmost respect and didnt have to wait in line to launch....we would only use one slip if it was crowded...if it meant the ooze off was late, then so be it............the problem we are experiencing here is that clubs having more than 15 boats (if I remember correctly) must get a permit from NCWRC to use the ramps for a tournemnt....so they get several small clubs with less than 15 and have a "joint" tournement to skate the law......NCWRC should make them all use one slip and one slip only or make them use a private ramp and pay out the wahzoo....dang , done got my dander up early on a Sunday morning
I can only wish to be as good as my dog thinks I am

was a rule that all regular joe's not in the tournement were treated with utmost respect and didn't have to wait in line to launch....

utmost respect is a thing of the past. I've had them blow past me at 45+ mph( between me and another boat both down lining that was a couple hundred feet from me. What happened to the 150ft rule.
Don't get me started on the cause the lack of respect for anybody
