I went and fished Tuesday and boy is this spring weather nice. Went and fished a creek I havnt fished in a while. There was 8 boats in there already, so I started out in a little deeper water. The bite was sloooow that morning, but got better in the afternoon. Thing was most of the boats left by 1200, good thing we stayed around. Water temp was 57 that morning and warmed to 61 in the afternoon. Caught 18 healthy slabs, most were caught in 3 to 6 feet of water. I was trolling anywhere from 1.5 ft to 3 ft deep. Fish hit an assortment of baits from magnum tubes to bobby garlands. Heard the fish bit better Monday always a day late and a dollar short lol. The girls are getting big.
