Knew a man down in Ingram Mill that had some horses that we used to ride and he had a horse that was in the round pen that we were working out and he walked up behind that horse and patted him on the butt and that horse kicked him through a oak rail fence and broke 8 of his ribs.He liked to have died!It weren't pretty!Me and my brother in law was riding one day and the horse I was on was a Palomino off the King Ranch in Texas and there was a mare in heat down on that farm and the horse he was riding was a gelding and those 2 horses got to kicking each other and I kept telling him to keep that horse in front a good ways or behind me a good ways while we was on the trail. Well he rode up next to me and that Palomino bit him in the thigh.His whole thigh was black and blue for almost a month.A horse can mess you up! As far as a horse feeling something, put a nose twist on it and it will do just about anything you want it to! Enough of me shooting off my fingers.
