Why won't anyone just admit,we are collectors.I myself have trouble passing up micro ice jigs,then when spring comes,I have a problem passing up crappie and gill lures........I'm a collector!

If you are only dropping $20-$30 at a time then your condition is still in the early stages. You could seek out help at an AA (Angler's Anonymous) chapter but most likely they will just tell you this is a normal condition. As time goes on the symptoms will worsen and you will buy more expensive tackle, trucks, and boats. Welcome to our world !!

Find what works in your fishing area and stick to it. I use 2 types of tube baits and 1 handtied jig. My favorite is a Southern Pro Umbrella tube in Purple / Charteruse on unpainted 1/8 oz jig head. I fish that one jig close to 90% of the time on one of the two Ozark jig poles I use. Sometimes I even have one on both rods. I normally fish several days a week most of the year too !
That is an 18'' ruler in the photo of a limit caught last November on those purple jigs.

I too got so bad that I had to make my own... now I don't have 10 of every color, I have 100! I like going into the stores and picking up anything that they only have one package left of. That means that you guys got there first and I'm the lucky one that got the last of the "good" baits before they were gone! Of course, I have a boat full of "1 left" purchases.
Standing in front of everyone: "I admit I have a problem, I am a crappie lure collector... a fishing lure junkie.... and I have a problem". You guys: "welcome"!
I am just helping my daughter out with starting her collection. When I die, she will have twice as much stuff as I did. Imagine how much crap my grandchild will have? I'm guessing they will have to pull a dingy behind the boat just for all the fishing gear!!!!
I gotta run: They are having a sale on florescent orange twisters with Chartreuse tails. I only have 25 packages and I need to stock up before you guys get em!!
