Good morning guys and gals,
The pops and I took advantage of the weather and got on the water about 9:30. We fished till 1:00 and would have came close to our two man limits if we would have kept the 9.5 in fish. We try to keep 10.5 or better if we can help it. We kept 27 with several nice slabs in the mix. Sizes were all over the place. We tried shallow flats and rip rap to no avail, but we found them on shallow boathouse with lots of bait on them. Solid bite pretty much all day once we hit the boat houses. Our set up was 4.5 foot b&m sharpshooter rods. Shimano symmetry 500's spooled with 4 lb Mr crappie hi viz line. White or pink 1/32 jig head. BGBS watermelon wine was the color of the day. Hope this helps someone get on some slabs. This is my first post so hopefully I can figure out how to post some pics. Enjoy this weather and tight lines to everybody!

GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water
Thanks guys,
I was fishing between seibold and preston Island on the west side of Lake.
Great first post and great report. I fish close to that area allot.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Thanks Eric. Just saying "Guntersville" would have worked for me. Thanks for being willing to share to that degree, I've shot those docks many times myself. Once they drop the water back down, those will be even easier to get to. You'll find this is a great site and you can learn a bunch from the folks on here.
Haha I meant to put Guntersville into the title but apparently it slipped my mind. Don't mind giving a few extra details though, build up some good karma now & it might keep me from striking out next time around. Hope to see ya'll on the water some day.
